Our Roots
The Colts Neck Lions Club was founded in 1969 by a few local individuals. We've been helping the Colts Neck and Monmouth County Community ever since. Our mission is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding. Lions Clubs are known for their work in vision and hearing care, as well as disaster relief and youth programs.

Lions Sensory Den
Dorbrook Park
In 2020 our Colts Neck, NJ Lions Club raised over $150,000 to complete The Lions Sensory Den at Dorbrook Park. This is a very special park located inside Dorbrook that is available to all, but designed specifically to help the visually impaired & autistic children.
Vision Screening
Helping Children Locally
Lions Club is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of children in our communities. Our vision screening program is designed to detect potential vision problems in children at an early age, allowing for early intervention and treatment. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to provide this important service to children across Monmouth County
BEEP Baseball
Helping Children Locally
Sports Matter
Beep baseball is a modified version of baseball designed for visually impaired players. The ball beeps, and the bases emit a buzzing sound to help players locate them. The pitcher and catcher are sighted, but all other players must wear blindfolds to level the playing field. It's a great way to promote inclusivity and accessibility in sports.
